12 Tips from Quran and sunnah to increase Provision (rizq)

Ar-Razzaq (الرَّزَّاقُ) meaning The Total Provider / The Sustainer is a name of Allah which is mentioned in quran and sunnah. Allah is the One who provides everything we need to live in this world. These are called Rizq generally meaning Provisions.
Ar-Razzaq is so merciful....

Abu Sa’eed reported: When the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, ate or drank, he would say, “All praise is due to Allah who has fed us, given us drink, and has made us Muslims.”Source: Sunan al-Tirmidhī 3457
Grade: Hasan (fair) according to Ibn Hajar

[Surah Nooh 71:10-12]

2. TAQWA (GOD-CONSCIOUSNESS, PIETY)

“…And whosoever fears Allah and keeps his duty to Him, He will make a way for him to get out (from every difficulty). And He will provide for him from (sources) where he does not expect…”

3. KEEPING TIES OF KINSHIP

4. SADAQAH (GIVING CHARITY)

[Surah as-Saba’ 34:39]

and

The likeness of those who spend their wealth in the Way of Allah, is as the likeness of a grain (of corn); it grows seven ears, and each ear has a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies [His reward] for whom He wills. And Allah is All-Sufficient for His creatures’ needs, All-Knower.
[Surah al-Baqarah 2:261]

5. ‘IBAADAH (WORSHIP)

Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Allah says, O son of Adam! I will make your hands constantly occupied but I will not remove your poverty.””
[Musnad Imam Ahmad, Tirmidhi 2466, Ibn Majah 4107. Authenticated in As-Saheehah 1359.]

6. DOING HAJJ AND ‛UMRAH

‛Abdullah Ibn Mas‛ood (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Perform Hajj and ‛Umrah consecutively. Verily, the succession between the two (rituals) removes away poverty and removes away sins just as the bellows removes away the dross of iron and gold and silver. And a Hajj not mingled with a sin has no reward except paradise.”

7. TAWAKKUL (RELIANCE UPON ALLAH ALONE)

‛Umar Ibn Al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that he heard the Prophet (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say, “If you would trust in Allah as He truly should be trusted, He would surely provide for you as He provides for the birds. They set out in the morning with empty stomachs and return in the evening with full stomachs.”
[Musnad Imam Ahmad, Ibn Majah 4164, Tirmidhi 2344. Authenticated in As-Saheehah 310.]

8. AN-NIKAAH (MARRIAGE)

“And marry off the unmarried among you and the righteous among your male slaves and female slaves. If they should be poor, Allah will enrich them from His bounty, and Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing.”
[Surah An-Nur 24:32]

9. DUA (SUPPLICATION)

Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated that the Prophet (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to say, when he would pray the Morning Prayer, after making the taslim [saying Asalaamu Alaykum Wa Rahmahtullah to the right and then to the left] he would say, “O Allah, I ask You for knowledge which is beneficial and sustenance which is good, and deeds which are acceptable.”
[Ibn Majah 926, 3843]

10. GRATITUDE AND PRAISING ALLAH

“And [remember] when your Lord proclaimed, ‘If you are grateful, I will surely increase you [in favour]; but if you show ingratitude, indeed, My punishment is severe.”
[Surah Ibrahim 14:7]

11. HONESTY AND FAIRNESS IN TRADE AND BUSINESS TRANSACTIONS

Ḥakim ibn Ḥazim (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, ” The two parties of a transaction have the right (to annul the contract) as long as they do not separate (from each other). So, if they were truthful (to one another), and honest in explaining (the defects of an item), then they will be blessed in their transaction. But, if they lied, and hid (the defects of an item) then the blessings of their transaction are destroyed.”
[Muslim Book 10:3661]

12. HAVING CHILDREN

“And do not kill your children for fear of poverty. We (Allah) provide for them and for you. Indeed, the killing of them is a great sin.”
[Surah Al-Isra’ 17:31]

Visiting my Sick brother or sister can make seventy thousand angels pray for me !

Assalamu Alikum Warahmathullahi wa barakathuhu

My dear sisters and brothers in Islam ,Today my article will be about virtue of visiting the sick.As we know we are so busy these days working and enjoying the blessings given to us , but as a Muslim we are not even ready to fulfill the right of our brother in Islam. Do you all know visiting a sick brother is a right of him which we should fulfill?

It was mentioned in a hadith Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Every Muslim has five rights over another Muslim (i.e., he has to perform five duties for another Muslim): to return the greetings, to visit the sick, to accompany funeral processions, to accept an invitation, to respond to the sneezer [i.e., to say: 'Yarhamuk-Allah (may Allah bestow His Mercy on you),' when the sneezer praises Allah]."
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

what is the Virtue of Visiting sick?

In this Para let us speak about the virtue of visiting a sick brother or a sister according the sunnah (tradition) so that we can strive to be among the good  doers. Without delay let us discuss the virtues of visiting the sick .

'Ali bin Abu Talib (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying, "When a Muslim visits a sick Muslim at dawn, seventy thousand angels keep on praying for him till dusk. If he visits him in the evening, seventy thousand angels keep on praying for him till the morning; and he will have (his share of) reaped fruits in Jannah."[At- Tirmidhi].

In another hadith:
Thauban (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "He who visits his brother in Faith, will remain engaged in picking the fresh fruits from the garden of Jannah till he returns."[Muslim].

According to al-Tirmidhi (2008), the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever visits a sick person or visits a brother in Islam, a caller cries out to him: ‘May you be happy, may your walking be blessed, and may you occupy a dignified position in Paradise’.” Classed as hasan by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Tirmidhi.

What should i do when i visit my sick brother or sister?
Let us learn through the tradition of prophet what to do when we visit our sick brother or sister.

When the Prophet (ﷺ) visited any ailing member of his family, he would touch the sick person with his right hand and would supplicate:
‏"‏اللهم رب الناس، أذهب البأس، واشف، أنت الشافي لا شفاء إلا شفاؤك، شفاءً لا يغادر سقماً”
"Allahumma Rabban-nasi, adhhibil-ba'sa, washfi, Antash-Shafi, la shifa'a illa shifa'uka, shifaan la yughadiru saqaman[O Allah! the Rubb of mankind! Remove this disease and cure (him or her)! You are the Great Curer. There is no cure but through You, which leaves behind no disease]."[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

Umm Salamah (May Allah be pleased with her):
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "When you visit a sick or a dying person, you should utter good words because the angels say `Amin' at what you say.'' She added: When Abu Salamah (May Allah be pleased with him) died, I came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: "O Messenger of Allah, Abu Salamah has died." He (ﷺ) directed me to supplicate thus: "Allahummaghfir li wa lahu, wa a`qibni minhu `uqba hasanatan [O Allah, forgive me and him, and bestow upon me a better future (give me a better substitute)]." So I supplicated as he directed, and Allah gave me a man who was better for me than Abu Salamah (i.e., the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ)). (The Prophet (ﷺ) married Umm Salamah afterwards.)[Muslim].

One should not sit too long with the sick person rather the visit should be short so that it does not cause any hardship to him or his family. Haashiyat Ibn Qaasim, 3/12; al-Sharh al-Mumti’, 5/174

You need to know this before udhuhiya (sacrifice)!

Assalamu Aliakum Insha allah today my article will be a reminder for everyone who is intending to sacrifice an animal for sake of Allah on the days of eid.‘Udhiya’ is an Arabic term which means “sacrificing an animal”, and ‘Qurbani’ is an Urdu and Persian word derived from the Arabic word ‘Qurban’ which literally means an act performed to seek Allah’s pleasure. It is technically used for the sacrifice of an animal slaughtered for the sake of Allah.

Sayyiduna Zayd ibn Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him) relates that the Companions asked, “O Messenger of Allah! What is Udhiya?” He replied, “It is the Sunna of your father Ibrahim (peace be upon him).” They asked again, “What benefit do we get from it?” He answered, “A reward for every hair (of the sacrificed animal).” “And [what reward is there for animals with] wool, O Messenger of Allah?” they asked. “A reward”, he said, “for every fiber of the wool.” (Sunan Ibn Majah)

These are some conditions that which will make the udhiya valid

   i.        It should be one of the an’aam class of animals, which are: camels, cattle, sheep and goats.
“And for every nation We have appointed religious ceremonies, that they may mention the Name of Allaah over the beast of cattle that He has given them for food”[al-Hajj 22:34]

ii. It should have reached the age
Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Do not sacrifice anything but an adult animal, unless it is difficult for you, in which case you may slaughter a six-month old lamb (jadh’ah).” Narrated by Muslim.

iii. The animal should belong to the person who is offering the sacrifice

iv. It should be slaughtered at the time specified in sharee’ah, which is from after the Eid prayer on the Day of Sacrifice until sunset on the last of the days of al-Tashreeq, which is the 13th of Dhu’l-Hijjah.

v.And the animal should be slaughtered according to sharee’ah
The Islamic slaughter requires that the throat, the external jugular veins and the wind-pipe of the animal is swiftly and clearly severed with a sharp tool, together with invoking the name of Allah Most High. If it was not slaughtered properly but it was skinned and cut up without being slaughtered, then it is not halaal.

vi. It should be free of any faults that would render it unsuitable for sacrifice such as
· Sickness
· defect in one eye
· broken legs etc

vii. And the udhiya should be divided into 3 portion
Ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: With regard to the meat from the sacrificial animals, one third should be for your family, one third for yourself, and one third for the poor.

Is it permissible to give meat from the udhiyah to a non-Muslim neighbour?

Praise be to Allah.

There is nothing wrong with giving meat from the udhiyah to a non-Muslim, especially if he is a relative or neighbour or is poor.

That is indicated by the verse in which Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning):
“Allah does not forbid you to deal justly and kindly with those who fought not against you on account of religion and did not drive you out of your homes. Verily, Allah loves those who deal with equity” [al-Mumtahinah 60:8].

Giving him some meat from the udhiyah comes under the heading of dealing justly and kindly with them, which Allah has permitted to us.

It was narrated from Mujaahid that a sheep was slaughtered for ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr by a member of his family, and when he came, he said: Did you give some to our Jewish neighbour, did you give some to our Jewish neighbour? For I heard the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) say: “Jibreel kept urging me to treat neighbours kindly until I thought that he would make neighbours heirs.” Narrated by at-Tirmidhi (1943); classed as saheeh by al-Albaani.

Ibn Qudaamah said: It is permissible to give some of it to a disbeliever, because it is voluntary charity which may be given to non-Muslims living under Muslim rule and prisoners of war, like all other kinds of voluntary charity.

Shaykh Ibn Baaz (may Allah have mercy on him) said: With regard to the disbeliever who is not in a state of war with us, such as one who has been granted protection by the Muslims or one who is living under Muslim rule, he may be given meat from the udhiyah, and other kinds of charity.

"How to Mourn the death of your Beloved one?”.

Death is true and every one of us are bound to taste death. And the life of this world is temporary and everything will come to an end. Today my article will be about "How to Mourn the death of your Beloved one”. Islam is a complete religion with amazing teaching which are very practical. Grieving a beloved one is usual and is natural emotion but accordingly Islam teach us how a believer should mourn on the death of his beloved.

And a hadith of beloved Prophet Muhammad, Peace be upon him, states that : «Two things in people are Kufr (Ignorance), one is to ridicule someone on his family genealogy, and the other is bewailing loudly the dead» (Reported by Muslim).

It is normal to weep for the dead according to Islam. What is prohibited is to express grief by wailing (Bewailing refers to mourning in a loud voice), shrieking, beating the chest and cheeks, tearing hair or clothes, breaking things or scratching faces or saying phrases that makes a Muslim lose faith or cursing god or anyone and singing phrases of cursing.

All of this is prohibited, as a hadith mentions that the deceased may feel pain by these actions, Prophet Muhammad, Peace be upon him, said: «The deceased suffers when someone bewails loudly» (Reported by Bukhari & Muslim).
In another hadith Prophet Muhammad, Peace be upon him, said: «He is not of us who beats his face, tears his clothes and bewails loudly when misfortune happens to him as was done before during the days of ignorance» (Reported by Bukhari & Muslim).

As a Muslim We are bound to take care of our actions when mourning our beloved one. There is no objection to quiet weeping as Prophet Muhammad, Peace be upon him, did when his son died and said: «It is a mercy that Allah made in the hearts of his servants» (Reported by Bukhari).

Relatives of a deceased Muslim may mourn him for three days only, but a widow may mourn her husband four months and ten days

May Allah Give us More Strength to Practicing our Religion and attain Jannah.
Jazakallah

Welcome back again Sha'ban....Lets learn sunnah!

Alhamdullilah Praised be to Allah who blessed us to enter the month of Shaban which is the 8th month of Islamic calender between Rajab and Ramadhan.

Usamah ibn Zayd (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: "I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, I do not see you fasting in any other month like you fast in Sha'ban.' He said, 'That is a month to which people do not pay attention, between Rajab and Ramadan, and it is a month in which deeds are lifted up to the Lord of the Worlds. I like for my deeds to be lifted up when I am fasting.'" (Narrated by al-Nasa'i).

It is one of the best month to fast according to the sunnah of our beloved prophet (pbuh) but he did not fast entire month according to the following hadith.

Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "The Messenger (p.b.u.h.) used to fast until we thought he would never break his fast, and not fast until we thought he would never fast. I never saw the Messenger of Allah fasting for an entire month except in Ramadan, and I never saw him fast more than he did in Sha'ban." (Bukhari and Muslim).

From the above mentioned hadith it is clear that prophet muhammed (sal) did not fast completely in the month of shaban but compared to other month he fasted most of the days.A group of scholars say that the Prophet did not fast all of Sha'ban, but he fasted most of it. This is supported by a report in Saheeh Muslim narrated from 'A'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her), who said: "I never knew of him - meaning the Prophet (PBUH) - fasting for any entire month apart from Ramadan." According to another report also narrated by Muslim, A'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "I never saw him fast for any entire month from the time he came to Madeenah, apart from Ramadan."

It was reported in al-Bukhari and Muslim that Ibn ‘Abbas said: “The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) did not fast any entire month apart from Ramadan.” Ibn ‘Abbas regarded it as makrooh to fast any entire month apart from Ramadan. Ibn Hajar (may Allah have mercy on him) said: “He observed more voluntary fasts in Sha’ban than in any other month, and he used to fast most of Sha’ban.”

Virtue of fasting and doing good deeds in the month of shaban

· We could Follow the sunnah of The Messenger (p.b.u.h.) so that we can be rewarded

When Sha'ban began, if the Prophet (p.b.u.h.) some voluntary fasts outstanding that he had not fasted, he would make them up during Sha'ban so that his Nafl fasts would be complete before Ramadan came. Similarly, if he had missed some Sunnah prayers or he had missed Qiyam al-Layl (night prayer), he would make it up. Aisha used to make the most of this opportunity to make up any obligatory Ramadan fasts that she had missed because of menstruation; during other months she was too busy with the Prophet (p.b.u.h.) to fast.

· Benefit of fasting in Sha'ban is that it is a kind of training for the Ramadan fast in case a person finds it difficult to fast when Ramadan starts; if he fasts in Sha'ban he will have gotten used to fasting and he will feel strong and energetic when Ramadan comes.

· Practicing more good deeds such as Qiyamul Layl ,More quranic recitation, charity, fasting ,dhikr, learning in shabaan make the practice of good deeds in Ramadan easier and familiar.

· It is more concealing of one's good works, and hiding and concealing Nawafil (supererogatory) actions is better, especially fasting, because it is a secret between a slave and his Lord.

Is this Dua Correct “O Allah, bless us in Rajab and Sha‘baan, and let us reach Ramadan”

This dua اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِي رَجَب، وَشَعْبَانَ، وَبَلِّغْنَا رَمَضَانَ

There is no saheeh hadeeth from the Prophet that speaks of the virtues of the month of Rajab. But Rajab of sacred 4 months. But such dua is from daeef (weak narration )as related by many Scholars. So it is better to avoid such dua which is not from sunnah.

Ibn ‘Uthaymeen (may Allah have mercy on him) said: There is no saheeh hadeeth that speaks of the virtues of Rajab. The month of Rajab is no different from the month of Jumaada al-Aakhirah that comes before it, except that it is one of the sacred months only. Otherwise there is no fast that is prescribed in this month, and no prayer or ‘umrah or anything else that is prescribed. It is like all other months.
{Tahdheeb at-Tahdheeb (3/305-306).

The hadeeth was classed as da‘eef by an-Nawawi in al-Adhkaar (p. 189) and Ibn Rajab in Lataa’if al-Ma‘aarif (p. 121). It was also classed as da‘eef by al-Albaani in Da‘eef al-Jaami‘ (4395).

Al-Haythami said: } It was narrated by al-Bazzaar, and its isnaad includes Zaa’idah ibn Abi ar-Ruqaad. Al-Bukhaari said: His hadeeth is odd, and a number of scholars regarded him as ignorant.\

With regard to the Muslim asking his Lord to let him reach Ramadan, there is nothing wrong with that. So we can ask Allah for the month of Ramadhan as it is a blessed month with lots of rewards.

Al-Haafiz Ibn Rajab (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
Ma‘alla ibn al-Fadl said: They used to pray to Allah for six months, may He be exalted, asking Him to cause them to reach Ramadan, and they used to call upon Him for six months asking Him to accept it from them. Yahya ibn Abi Katheer said: One of their du‘aa’s was: “O Allah, keep me safe until Ramadan, keep Ramadan safe for me, and accept it from me.”

Islam is the best: Few tips to Increase your Relationship with Quran!...: Assalamu alikum (peace be upon you).Today my article will contain tips on relationship with Quran. Most of us are reading Quran but their i...

Few tips to Increase your Relationship with Quran!!!

Assalamu alikum (peace be upon you). Most of recite Quran without any understanding which   will make no changes in our lives. For example think you are reading a physics book and someone ask you “Can you explain me this chapter which you are reading  ?" and if your answer to him was “Sorry i have no idea" Then the questioner will tell please don't waste your time reading this book if it is of no use. It is same in our Muslim umma today they say i finished reading this chapter of Quran so and so.... But when asked what did you understand or what is the lesson you got from this chapter? They say "No idea".

Here we do not advice you not to recite Quran, but We say recite Quran with understanding. We can find many hadith of holy prophet (sal) on reciting quran such as" Verily the one who recites the Qur’an beautifully, smoothly, and precisely, he will be in the company of the noble and obedient angels. And as for the one who recites with difficulty, stammering or stumbling through its verses, then he will have TWICE that reward.” [Al-Bukhari and Muslim] " and in another hadith narrated by Ibn Mas'oad RadiyAllahu `anhu says that Rasullullah Sallallahu `alaihi wasallam said, "Whoever reads one letter of the Book of Allah is credited with one blessing and one blessing is equal to tenfold the like thereof in its reward. I do not say that الم (Alif Lam Meem) is one letter, but '(ا )' (Alif) is one letter, ' ( ل )’ (Lam) is one letter, and '( م )' (Meem) is one letter." (Tirmidhi)

Why do we say we need to that we need to understand Quran while reciting it. Because Allah says in his Quran "And we have indeed made the Qur'an easy to understand and remember: then is there any that will receive admonition?" [Al Qamar: The Moon: 17].From This Ayah it is clear that Quran was made easy to remember and understands and Allah ask is there anyone who will learn or take lesson from it?.And Mu'az Juhani RadiyAllahu `anhu reports that Rasulullah Sallallahu `alaihi wasallam said, "Whoever reads the Qur'an and acts upon what is contained in it, his parents will be made to wear a crown on the Day of Judgment, the brightness of which will excel that of the sun, if the same were within your worldly houses. So, what do you think about the person who himself acts upon it?" (Ahmad, Abu Dawud) So where are we heading to?? .We Give priority to other leanings and understandings while forgetting to learn our guidance for this temporary life. But some others completely forgot Quran as if they are going to live on this earth always. May Allah protect us from being such people!

Now let us discuss how to increase the connection with the Quran?
First Feel Allah is addressing you directly
Take all the verses are related to you and is for you personally
Know all these verses were planned to hear or recite for you
Quran is a reminder so its verses are relevant to you
When reciting or recited concentrate on what is read to you
Understand its meaning if you don't take steps to understand Quran
Imagine wherever it is possible to imagine, when Allah mentions about signs, jannah or hell or etc
Ask Allah to help you to receive admonition from Quranic verses.
Evaluate you past day or night to present and check constantly.
Plan yourself to understand and learn Quran (in future how would you improve)
Propagate what you learn (convey others your learning)

It is amazing to know how to plant a tree in jannah..

Assalamu Alikum ,First will speak about

The trees of Paradise

Trees of paradise are abundant and good and of many kinds. Its trees and fruits are of many kind and everlasting. The trees of Paradise bear fruit constantly, unlike the trees of this world, which bear fruit only at certain times or seasons. The trees of Paradise always bear fruit and offer shade.

Allah says:The companions of the right - what are the companions of the right? (27) [They will be] among lote trees with thorns removed (28) And [banana] trees layered [with fruit] (29) And shade extended (30) And water poured out (31) And fruit, abundant [and varied], (32) Neither limited [to season] nor forbidden, (33) And [upon] beds raised high. (34)  [Al-Waqia 56:27-33]

The supply is continuous and the people of Paradise are never denied. one of the delights that the people of Paradise will enjoy is finding that its fruits are similar in appearance, but different in taste:
"....Everytime they will be provided with a fruit therefrom, they will say, "This is what we were provided with before", and they will be given things in resemblance [i.e. in the same form but different in taste]...." [Al-Baqarah 2:25]

The fruits of the trees will be low-hanging, in easy reach of the people of Paradise: "Reclining upon the couches lined with silk brocade, and the fruits of the two Gardens will be near at hand" [Ar-Rahman 55:54]

Some of the trees of Paradise

"Verily, for the muttaqoon, there will be a success [Paradise], (31) gardens and grape yards" [An-Naba 78:31-32]

"in them [both will be fruits, date palms and pomegranates" [Ar-Rahman 55:68]

This is a huge tree, whose true size is known only to its Creator. The Prophet (saw) conveyed an impression of its size when he said that "In Paradise there is a tree which the rider of a swift horse would need one hundred years to pass beneath"
[Bukhaari, Kitaab ar-Riqaaq]

There is a tree in paradise which Allah has mentioned in a clear and unambiguous revelation. Allah (swt) told us that our Prophet Muhammad (saw) saw Jibreel in the form in which Allah created him at that tree. He also told us that it was veiled with something known only to Allah (swt) when the Prophet (saw) saw it: "And indeed he [Muhammad] saw him [Jibreel] at a second descent [i.e. a second time] (13) near Sidrat al-Muntaha [the Lote-tree of the utmost boundary beyond which none may pass](14)near it is the Paradise of Abode. (15) When that covered the lote-tree which covered it! (16) The sight of [Muhammad] turned not aside [right or left], nor did it transgress beyond [the] limit [ordained for it] (17) Indeed he (Muhammad SAW) did see, of the Greatest Signs, of his Lord (Allâh).
 [An-Najm 53:13-18]

The Prophet (saw) told us about what he saw of this tree: "Then I was taken up until I reached Sidrat al-Muntaha and I saw its Nabq [fruits] which looked like the clay jugs of Hajar, its leaves were like the ears of elephants, and one of these leaves could cover the whole of this ummah. It was veiled in colours indescribable. Then I entered Paradise, and its lights were pearls and its soil was musk". [Saheeh Bukhaari and Muslim]

This is a huge tree which produces the fabric for the clothing of the people of Paradise. Ahmad Ibn Jareer and Ibn Hibbaan report from Abu Sa'eed al-Khudri that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said, "Tooba is a tree in Paradise, as big as a hundred year's journey; the clothes of the people of Paradise comes from its calyces [the outer parts of its flowers]" [Silsilat al-Hadith as-Saheehah, 4/639, no. 1985, the isnaad is hasan]

One of the wondrous things that the Messenger of Allah (saw) told us is that the trunks of the trees are gold: "There is no tree in Paradise that does not have a trunk made of gold" [Ibn Hibbaan, at-Tirmidhi, al-Bayhaqee, from Abu Hurayrah, Saheeh al-Jaami' as-Sagheer 5/150 saheeh]

How can i plant a tree in Paradise?

Ibn Mas`ud (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:

Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said:"I met Ibrahim (PBUH) on the Night of Ascension (Al-Asra),
and he said to me:
`O Muhammad, convey my greetings to your Ummah, and tell them that Jannah has a vast plain of pure soil and sweet water. It is a plain levelled land. The plants grow there by uttering:

سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ، سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ العَظِيم

Transliteration: Subhanallahi Wa Bihamdihi, Subhanallahil Azeem
Translation: Glory be to Allah and all praise is due to him, glory be to Allah the great

[At-Tirmidhi]

It was narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

“Whoever says Subhan Allah il ‘azeem wa bi hamdihi (Glory and praise be to Allah, the Almighty), a palm tree will be planted for him in Paradise.”[At-Tirmidhi]
