Extravagances...... view in light of Quran and sunnah
Assalamu Alilkum warahmathullahi wa barakathuhu My dear readers,
This article of mine will be based on a special topic called "extravagance vs Islam".The reason why I selected this particular topic is to explain my dear readers how bad its waste. We say people around the world is suffering without water, food, shelter, clothing or money and so on and we create videos or presentations or an article while we are spending extravagantly not only for our basic needs but also for our small unwanted pleasures .
It does not mean we should not spend but it means that we are accountable for each and every expenditure. And extravagance bring pride and will make us of arrogant boasters to which will abide hell.
Allah says in Quran
Allah says in Quran
Extravagance: and eat and drink but waste not by extravagance, certainly He (Allah) likes not Al-Musrifin (those who waste by extravagance(7:31)
Proud: Verily He loves not the arrogant (proud).” [Surah Al Nahl 16:23]
Arrogant boasters:For Allah loves not any arrogant boaster.” [Surah Luqman 31:18]
In sunnah traditiopns of prophet ﷺ it is mentioned in many instance to stop extravagance:
Narrated Al-Mughira bin Shu`ba:The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Allah has forbidden for you, (1) to be undutiful to your mothers, (2) to bury your daughters alive, (3) to not to pay the rights of the others (e.g. charity, etc.) and (4) to beg of men (begging). And Allah has hated for you (1) vain, useless talk, or that you talk too much about others, (2) to ask too many questions, (in disputed religious matters) and (3) to waste the wealth (by extravagance).(Sahih al-Bukhari 2408)
Amro bin Shu’aib narrated on the authority of his father, on the authority of his grandfather (RAA), that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:“Eat, drink, wear clothes and give sadaqah but with neither extravagance nor pride.” (Related by Abu Dawud and Ahmad Book 16, Hadith 1496)
Hind bint `Utba (Abu Sufyan's wife) came and said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! Abu Sufyan is a miser. Is there any harm if I spend something from his property for our children?" He said, there is no harm for you if you feed them from it justly and reasonably (with no extravagance).(Sahih al-Bukhari 2460)
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "If a woman gives in charity from her house meals without wasting (i.e. being extravagant), she will get the reward for her giving, and her husband will also get the reward for his earning and the storekeeper will also get a similar reward. The acquisition of the reward of none of them will reduce the reward of the others."(Sahih al-Bukhari 2065)

May Allah protect us from Extravagance and stinginess and May he make us of the good doers and gift us with Jannathul Firdous

Are you suffering from illness?? then take a look what Islam says
Assalamu alikum My dear readers ,
Today my article will be focused on what Islam says about one who is suffering from illness, it can be you or someone whom you love so much .Still we must accept this hardship as we are here on this earth for only a short period and every illness is a trial for a mu'min. To support my saying I would love to select some Quran verses and saying of our beloved prophet (peace be upon him)
Allah says:
Narrated by Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri(ral) and Abu Huraira(ral),The Prophet said, "No fatigue, nor disease, nor sorrow, nor sadness, nor hurt, nor distress befalls a Muslim, even if it were the prick he receives from a thorn, but that Allah expiates some of his sins for that."(sahih Bhukhari)
Hadrat Abdullah bin Mas'ood(R.A.) reports that Rasulullah(Sallallaahu alaiyhi wassallam) said, 'Whenever a Muslim experiences any hardship like sickness (etc.), Allah Ta'ala wipes away his sins just as a tree sheds its leaves during autumn.' (Bukhaari and Muslim)
Rasulullah(Sallallaahu alaiyhi wassallam) has also said, '(Sometimes) a very high rank (in Allah's sight) is decreed for a Mu'min which he could never have attained by virtue of his deeds, so Allah Ta'ala lets him experience some hardship, whether it be physical, material (financial, etc.) or concerning his children. Then, He makes him patient and lets him attain the position decreed for him.' (Ahmad, Abu Dawood)
Therefore, although it is bitter to bear calamities and misfortunes with patience, we should consider it sweet in view of the great bounty attainable through it. The difficulty and hardship of only a few days will be followed by a life of eternal happiness, Insha-Allah.

Allah says:
Verily, We shall put you to test with some fear, and hunger, and with some loss of wealth, lives, and offspring. And (O Muhammad) convey good tidings to those who are patient, who say, when inflicted by hardship, "Verily we are of God and verily to Him shall we return;" upon them is the blessings of Allah and His mercy. (2:155)
Following are hadiths of Muhammad (peace be upon him) in which virtues of being sick is mentioned :
Narrated by 'Aisha(ral) (the wife of the Prophet) Allah's Apostle said, "No calamity befalls a Muslim but that Allah expiates some of his sins because of it, even though it were the prick he receives from a thorn."(sahih Bhukhari)

Amazing chance for patient
Rasulullah(Sallallaahu alaiyhi wassallam) has said,'When you visit a sickperson, then tell him to make dua for you, because his duas are (accepted readily) like the duas of the Angels.' (Ibn Maajah)
Rasulullah(Sallallaahu alaiyhi wassallam) has also said, 'The dua of a sick person is not rejected until he recovers from his sickness.' (Ibn Abiddunyaa)

Dua for sickness
Bismillah thrice and say (the following) seven times:
A'oozu bi'izza tillaahi wa qudratihi min sharri maa ajidu wa uhaaziru
I seek protection in the great might of Allah and His power against the evil I am
experiencing and dread. (Sahih Muslim 2202)
"O Lord of the people, remove this pain and cure it, You are the one who cures and there is no one besides You who can cure, grant such a cure that no illness remains".
