They will not even smell the fragrance of Paradise !!

These days I am tired hearing people speak about socialization, fashions and culture with modernization when we speak about Islam. I want to tell them that Islam is complete and is for everyone, every time and every place until the day of judgement.
Allah says :
This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favour upon you and have approved for you Islam as religion (5:3)

After this verse
1. It is crystal clear there could be no innovation in religion in the name of culture and modernism ; when the rulings are clear.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever does an action that is not in accordance with this matter of ours (Islam) will have it rejected.” (Narrated by al-Bukhari, 2697; Muslim, 1718).

2. We are obliged to believe Rasullulah (prophet of Allah) have completed his mission or else will be among the wrongdoers.

And as Muslims we are supposed to take the proof from two sources that are Quran and Sunnah not from the society when it is against these sources.
Allah says: “And whatsoever the Messenger (Muhammad ) gives you, take it; and whatsoever he forbids you, abstain (from it)”[al-Hashr 59:7]

Today I am here to mention some authentic hadith against the people who dye their hair black and say "we need to go with society, don't you see that scholar who coloured his hair black." I would say "you will be asked about your deeds, not his!"

Following are authentic hadith:

Ibn ‘Abbaas (may Allaah be pleased with him) who said: “The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: ‘There will be a people at the end of time who will dye their hair black like the crops of pigeons; they will not even smell the fragrance of Paradise.’”(Reported by Muslim, al-Nisaa’i and Ibn Maajah Ahmad, Abu Dawood )

It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas, who attributed it to the Prophet [SAW], said:"Some people will dye their hair black like the breasts of pigeons at the end of time, but they will not even smell the fragrance of Paradise."(Sunan an-Nasa'i 5075)
In another narration

Jabir (May Allah be pleased with him) said:Abu Quhafah, father of Abu Bakr (May Allah be pleased with them) was presented to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) on the day of the conquest of Makkah and his head and beard were snow white. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Change it (i.e., dye it and avoid black colour)."[Muslim].

From the above hadithes it is clear that It is not permitted for a man to dye his beard or hair black because of the reports which command us to avoid that and forbid us to do itIt is permitted to dye the hair with henna or any other substance that will give it a reddish or yellowish colour because it is reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to dye his hair with yellow. Muslim reported that Abu Bakr dyed his hair with henna and katam and that ‘Umar used to dye his hair with henna. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) also said, “The best things with which you can change this grey hair are henna and katam.”

Allah knows the best.
