- The first verse of Quran was "Read"
which shows the learning is so important to understand the creator which leads to worshipping the creator“Read!in the name of thy Lord and Cherisher, Who created – Created man, out of a (mere) clot of congealed blood: Proclaim! And thy Lord is Most Bountiful, He Who taught (the use of) the pen, Taught man that which he knew not” [Quran, 96:1-5].
- It is our duty to seek knowledge
Anas ibn Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon Seeking knowledge is an obligation upon every Muslim(Sunan Ibn Mājah)
- Allah guide them to the Straight path
This should be every muslims Dua to ask Allah to guide them in the Straight path. That is one of the Dua we say at least 17 times in our prayer when Surah al Fathiha is recited.
“And those who strive in Our (cause), – We will certainly guide them to our Paths: For verily Allah is with those who do right” [Quran, 29:69].
- Allah Almighty raised the ranks of true people of knowledge
Elevated their status revealing the importance of knowledge and people bearing it,
God will raise up, by many degrees, those of you who believe and those who have been given knowledge: He is fully aware of what you do. [Qur’an, 58:11]
- Makes the path to Paradise easy for him
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:Whoever takes a path upon which to obtain knowledge, Allah makes the path to Paradise easy for him (Bukhari and Muslim).
