Oh France Cartoonist "You will be Ashamed or Amazed if you know the truth"!!

“Allaah has sent down to you the book (the Qur’aan), and Al‑Hikmah (Islamic laws, knowledge of legal and illegal things, i.e. the Prophet’s Sunnah — legal ways), and taught you that which you knew not. And Ever Great is the Grace of Allaah unto you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم)” [al-Nisa’ 4:113]

It is difficult to list all the different types of honour that Allaah has bestowed upon our beloved prophet( sal), for example:

💖Allaah took him as a close friend (khaleel);

💖 He made him the Seal of His Messengers;

💖He revealed the best of His Books to him,

💖and made his message one that applies to both mankind and the jinn until the Day of Resurrection;

💖 He forgave him his past and future sins;

💖He caused miracles to happen at his hand that superseded those of all the Prophets who came before him;

💖he will be the leader of the sons of Adam (on the Day of Resurrection),

💖the first one for whom the grave will be opened,

💖and the first one to intercede and the first one whose intercession will be accepted;

💖 in his hand will be a banner of praise on the Day of Resurrection;

💖He will be the first one to cross al-siraat (a bridge across Hell),

💖the first one to knock at the gate of Paradise and the first one to enter it … and many other unique characteristics and miracles that are mentioned in the Qur’aan and Sunnah📚.

So lets say Salavaath upon him!

“Allaahumma salli ‘ala Muhammad wa ‘ala aali Muhammad kama salayta ‘ala Ibraaheem wa ‘ala aali Ibraaheem, innaka hameedun majeed. Allaahumma baarik ‘ala Muhammad wa ‘ala aali Muhammad kama baarakta ‘ala Ibraaheem wa ‘ala aali Ibraaheem, innaka hameedun majeed

(O Allaah, send prayers upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad, as You sent prayers upon Ibraaheem and upon the family of Ibraaheem; You are indeed Worthy of Praise, Full of Glory. O Allaah, send blessings upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad as You sent blessings upon Ibraaheem and upon the family of Ibraaheem; You are indeed Worthy of Praise, Full of Glory).”

Narrated by al-Bukhaari (3700) and Muslim (406) from the hadeeth of Ka‘b ibn ‘Ajrah (may Allah be pleased with him)

It expiates for the sins of the previous year and of the coming year!!! (the Day of ‘Arafaah)

This is going to be an Article which will give you the Virtue of the Day of ‘Arafaah  in summarized form for easy reference Insha Allah!!! So by Reading the article you might know the virtue Specifically which will help you make this Approaching Arafah fruitful and benefitialal in sha Allah.

This come with in the Best Ten Days of Dhul Hajj so actions carried out during its days are more beloved to Allaah

((There are no days wherein the righteous action is more beloved to Allaah than these ten)) Meaning the ten days. They said: “O Messenger of Allaah, not even Jihaad in the path of Allaah?” so he said: ((Not even Jihaad in the path of Allaah, except for a man who goes out with his person and his wealth, and then he did not return with anything from that.))

This hadeeth proves that actions carried out during its days are more beloved to Allaah than the carrying out of actions during the other days of the world without there being any exception from them.

It is the day on which the religion was perfected and Allaah’s Favour was completed

((This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favour upon you and have chosen for you Islaam as your religion)) (Al-Maa-idah: 3)

In Al-Saheehayn it was reported from ‘Umar ibn al-Khattaab (may Allaah be pleased with him) that a Jewish man said to him, “O Ameer al-Mu’mineen, there is an aayah in your Book which you recite; if it had come to us Jews, we would have taken that day as an ‘Eid (festival).” ‘Umar said, “Which aayah?” He said: “This day I have perfected your religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion.” [al-Maa’idah 5:3 – interpretation of the meaning]. ‘Umar said, “We know on which day and in which place that was revealed to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). It was when he was standing in ‘Arafaah on a Friday.”

It is a day by which Allaah swore an oath.

َشَاهِدٍ وَمَشْهُودٍ - 85:3
“By the witnessing day [Friday] and by the witnessed day [the Day of ‘Arafaah].” [al-Burooj 85:3].

It was reported from Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “The promised day is the Day of Resurrection, the witnessed day is the Day of ‘Arafaah, and the witnessing day is Friday.” Narrated by al-Tirmidhi and classed as saheeh by al-Albaani.

Fasting on this day is an expiation for two years.

It was reported from Abu Qutaadah (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was asked about fasting on the Day of ‘Arafaah. He said, “It expiates for the sins of the previous year and of the coming year.” Narrated by Muslim.

It is the day of forgiveness of sins, freedom from the Fire

It was narrated on the authority of ‘Aa’ishah may Allah be pleased with her that the Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allah exalt his mention ) said:

“There is no day when Allah sets free more slaves from Hell than the Day of ‘Arafah. He draws near, then boasts of them to the angels, Saying, ‘What do these [slaves] want [that I may give them]?’” [Muslim]

The best dua is dua on the day of Arafa

Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "The best dua is dua on the day of Arafa, and the best thing that I or the Prophets before me have said is 'There is no god but Allah, alone, without any partner'
(لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ .)"

Imaam An-Nawawee (rahimahullaah) said in Al-Adhkaar (p.236): “Thus it is recommended that this dhikr and supplication be made plentifully and that one should strive in that. For this day is the best of the days of the year for supplication; and it is the main part of the Hajj – as well as its purpose and is dependent upon it. Therefore it befits that the individual should exert his ability in remembrance and in making supplication and in reciting the Qur’aan and to supplicate with an array of supplications and to come with a varying form of Adhkaar. One should also supplicate for himself and for his parents and his close relations and his Shuyookh and his companions and his friends and those beloved to him – in all those who have shown good to him as well as all of the Muslims

A person commits a sin by which he enters Paradise; and another does a good deed by which he enters the Fire!!

Today my article is going to be about a person commits a sin by which he enters Paradise; and another does a good deed by which he enters the Fire!! let's read further to know why !!

One of the Pious Predecessors(Salaf ) said: “Indeed a servant commits a sin by which he enters Paradise; and another does a good deed by which he enters the Fire.” It was asked: How is that? So he replied: “The one who committed the sin, constantly thinks about it; which causes him to fear it, regret it, weep over it and feel ashamed in front of his Lord - the Most High - due to it. He stands before Allah, broken-hearted and with his head lowered in humility. So this sin is more beneficial to him than doing many acts of obedience, since it caused him to have humility and humbleness - which leads to the servant's happiness and success - to the extent that this sin becomes the cause for him entering Paradise. As for the doer of good, then he does not consider this good a favor from his Lord Upon him. Rather, he becomes arrogant and amazed with himself, saying: I have achieved such and such, and such and such. So this further increases him in self-adulation, pride and arrogance - such that this becomes the cause for his destruction.”

“There is no doubt that the heart becomes covered with rust, just as metal dishes - silver, and their like - become rusty. So the rust of the heart is polished with Dhikr (remembrance of Allah), for Dhikr polishes the heart until it becomes like a shiny mirror. However, when Dhikr is abandoned, the rust returns; and when it commences then the heart again begins to be cleansed. Thus the heart becoming rusty is due to two matters: sins and Ghaflah (neglecting remembrance of Allah). Likewise, it is cleansed and polished by two things: Istighfar (seeking Allah's forgiveness) and Dhikr.”

Here is a beautiful hadeeth on dhikr ; Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Take up your shields.” They said, “O Messenger of Allah, is the enemy present?” The Prophet said, “No, rather your shields from the Hellfire are to declare the glory of Allah(سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ/ Subhanallah), the praise of Allah(الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ / Alhamdulillah), there is no God but Allah(لا إِلَهَ إِلا اللَّهُ / la illaha illa Allah), and Allah is the greatest(اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ / Allahu Akbar). Verily, they will come on the Day of Resurrection as saviors and guardian angels, and they are ‘righteous deeds everlasting.’” (18:46) Source: al-Sunan al-Kubrá lil-Nasā’ī 10204

A hadeeth on Arrogance Abdullah ibn Amr reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “No human being will enter Paradise if there is as much as the weight of a mustard seed of arrogance in his heart.”Source: Musnad Aḥmad 6526

May Allah protect us from arrogance and make us of those who remembers him ,fear him in all aspects and admit us to higher level of jannah.

Jannah!!!! let me just enter it!! a wonderful reminder!!

Let's spend few minutes to hear this reminder!!

Description of Paradise from Quran and Sunnah💜

Note:
I chose only few Quran ayah and ahadeeth that described us the Jannah!

“No person knows what is kept hidden for them of joy, as a reward for what they used to do.” (The Quran, 32:17)

The Sahabah asked the Prophet about the buildings of Paradise and he replied with a wonderful description: “Bricks of gold and silver, and mortar of fragrant musk, pebbles of pearl and sapphire, and soil of saffron. Whoever enters it is filled with joy and will never feel miserable; he will live there forever and never die; their clothes will never wear out and their youth will never fade.” (Ahmad, at-Tirmidhi, ad-Daarimee)
 Almighty Allah Says : "And when you look there [in Paradise], you will see pleasure and great dominion." [Quran 76:20]

Almighty Allah Says in another place  "And no soul knows what has been hidden for them of comfort for eyes [i.e. satisfaction] as reward for what they used to do." [Quran 32. 17]

Almighty Allah Says in another place “But those who believe and do good deeds, We will admit them to gardens (Paradise) in which rivers flow, lasting in them forever....” (Quran 4:57)
The Messenger of Allah  said:“Allah, the Exalted, has said: “I have prepared for My righteous Slaves [in Paradise] what no eyes have ever seen, no ears have ever heard of, and what has never come to the mind or heart of a human being.”; recite, if you wish {And no soul knows what has been hidden for them of comfort for eyes [i.e. satisfaction] as reward for what they used to do.} [Quran 32:17] [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “The space of the bow of any one of you in Paradise is better than all that the sun rises upon” (Mishkaat al-Masaabeeh 3/85, no. 5615)

“(It will be said to them): This is Our Provision, which will never finish” (Quran 38:54)

Describing peoples of Paradise

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said that a caller will call out in Paradise when people enter it: “Indeed may you be healthy and never be sick again, may you live and never die again, may you be young and never grow feeble again, may you enjoy, and never feel sorrow and regret again.” (Saheeh Muslim)

Allah says (interpretation of meaning): “They will not hear therein ill speech or commission of sin. But only the saying of: Peace! Peace!” (Quran 56:25-26)

There will be no enmity between people nor ill-feelings: “And We shall remove from their breasts any (mutual) hatred or sense of injury (which they had, if at all, in the life of this world).” (Quran 7:43)

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “There will be no hatred or resentment among them, their hearts will be as one, and they will glorify God, morning and evening.” (Saheeh Al-Bukhari)

Describing Tents of Jannah

Abu Musa al-Ash’ari narrated that the Prophet (sallallahu alayhe wa sallam) said, “Verily, for the believers in Paradise, are tents made of a single hollow pearl. The length of which would be sixty miles long from all sides, their wives being therein. The believer will go around them (i.e., visit them) and they will not be able to see each other.” [Sahih al-Jami]

Describing Trees of Jannah

Abu Hurairah said that the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhe wa sallam) said, “There is not a tree in Paradise, except that its trunk is made of gold.” [Sahih al-Jami]

Sidrat al-Muntahaa, a tree in Heaven and near it, Paradise, as is mention in al-Bukhaari, and Muslim in the hadith of Anas (may Allah be pleased with him). At the end of this narrative of al-Israa, the Prophet (sallallahu alayhe wa sallam) said, “Then Jibreel brought me to Sidrat al-Muntahaa which was veiled in colours indescribable. Then I entered Paradise, and its lights were of pearls and its soil was musk”.

Describing market of Jannah

Anas ibn Malik narrated that the Prophet (sallallahu alayhe wa sallam) said, “Verily in Paradise there is a market in which (the inhabitants of Paradise) will come to every Friday. The North wind will blow and scatter fragrances on their faces and on their clothes. This will add to their beauty and their attractiveness. They will then go back to their families after having an added luster to their beauty and their attractiveness. Their families will say to them, ‘By Allah you have been increased in beauty and loveliness after leaving us,’ and they will say, ‘By Allah you too have increased in beauty and attractiveness after us.’” [Muslim]

The Food and Drink of the People of Paradise

{And fruit of what they select And the meat of fowl, from whatever they desire.} [Quran 56: 20-21]

{And therein is whatever the souls desire and [what] delights the eyes, and you will abide therein eternally.} [Quran 43: 71]

{Indeed, the righteous will drink from a cup , whose mixture is of Kaafoor (camphor). A spring of which the [righteous] servants of Allah will drink; they will make it gush forth in force [and abundance].} [Quran 76: 5-6]

The dwellers of Paradise will enjoy gold and silver utensils, vessels, cups and plates therein. Allah says (what means): “And there will be circulated among them vessels of silver and cups having been [created] clear [as glass]. Clear glasses [made] from silver of which they have determined the measure.” [Quran 76: 15-16]

The water of Paradise

Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) said that Allah’s Apostle (sallallahu alayhe wa sallam) said,“I entered Paradise and found myself by a river, by its edges were tents of pearls. Then I tapped with my hands where the water was running, and there was then a beautiful smell of musk. I asked, ‘What is this O Gabriel?’ He said, ‘This is Kawthar (river in Paradise) which Allah has given to you.’” [Sahih al-Jami]

"... In it are rivers of water, the taste and smell of which are not changed. Rivers of milk of which the taste never changes, rivers of wine delicious to those wo drink and rivers of clear and pure honey ..." [Muhammad: 15]

The water of Paradise does not become brackish, and its milk never changes in flavor: “... rivers of water incorruptible; rivers of milk of which the taste never changes ...” (Quran 47:15)

Describing of buildings of Paradise

The Sahabah asked the Prophet about the buildings of Paradise and he replied with a wonderful description: “Bricks of gold and silver, and mortar of fragrant musk, pebbles of pearl and sapphire, and soil of saffron. Whoever enters it is filled with joy and will never feel miserable; he will live there forever and never die; their clothes will never wear out and their youth will never fade.” (Ahmad, at-Tirmidhi, ad-Daarimee)

Ibn Katheer said: "Allah has told us about His blessed slaves who will have rooms [or dwellings] in Paradise: these will be lofty palaces, "lofty rooms, one above another - story upon story, well-constructed, strong and decorated. The Prophet (saw) described these palaces to us. According to a hadith narrated by Ahmad, and Ibn Hibbaan from Abu Maalik al-Ash'ari and by at-Tirmidhi from 'Ali (ra) the Prophet (saw) said:
"In Paradise there are dwellings whose inside can be seen from the outside, and the outside can be seen from inside. Allah [swt] has prepared them for those who feed the hungry, and speak softly and gently, fast continuously and pray at night whilst the people are asleep." [Saheeh al-Jaami' as-Sagheer, 2/220, no. 2119]

A True believer vs Covid-19 which is known as corona virus!

I am sure most of us are aware of  Covid-19 – the illness that started in Wuhan; and know the prevention methods too; such as wearing the mask, washing hand, etc..but my Article is going to be about how a Muslim should react to Covid-19 or any other infectious diseases.

What should I do when the land I live is affected?
We can find answers to such question easily without any doubts from authentic hadeeths. There are hadiths from the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) that forbid the Muslim to enter a land in which the plague is occurring, and also forbid him to leave the land in which the plague is occurring.

Al-Bukhaari (5739) and Muslim (2219) narrated from ‘Abd ar-Rahmaan ibn ‘Awf (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) say: “If you hear that it (the plague) is in a land, do not go there, and if it breaks out in a land where you are, do not leave, fleeing from it.”

Al-Bukhaari (3473) and Muslim (2218) narrated that Usaamah ibn Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “The plague is a calamity (or a punishment) that was sent upon the Children of Israel, or upon those who came before you. If you hear of it in some land, do not go there, and if it breaks out in a land where you are, do not leave, fleeing from it.”

These hadiths indicate that it is prohibited to go to the land where the plague is occurring, and to leave that land, fleeing from it.

okay what is plague?
It was said that what is meant by the word taa‘oon (translated here as plague) is a specific disease that is known to the scholars and doctors. It was also said that it refers to any widespread disease (epidemic) that leads to the death of many people.

The correct view, as noted by the scholars, is that it is any sickness that affects many people in one part of the land, but not all of it; differs from ordinary diseases in the large number of people affected and in other ways; and where they are all affected by the same kind of sickness, unlike at other times, when people suffer from different kinds of sickness.

what does Islam say about the believer who is affected by such diseases?

We need to treat the disease as there is cure for every disease Insha Allah..
We can find answers to such question easily  from authentic hadeeths when we find it as calamity or hardship. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) has told us that bearing hardships and calamities with patience is something that can only be done by those who have achieved true faith. Trials and calamities are a test, and are a sign of Allaah’s love for a person. They are like medicine: even if it is bitter, you offer it despite its bitterness to one whom you love .

It was narrated that Subhayb al-Roomi (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “How wonderful is the affair of the believer, for his affair is all good, and this applies to no one except the believer. If something good happens to him, he gives thanks and that is good for him, and if something bad happens to him, he bears it with patience, and he will be rewarded for that, so everything that Allaah has decreed for the Muslim is good.”Narrated by Muslim, 2999.
 According to another  saheeh hadeeth: “The greatest reward comes with the greatest trial. When Allaah loves a people He tests them. Whoever accepts that wins His pleasure but whoever is discontent with that earns His wrath.” Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 2396; Ibn Maajah, 4031; classed as saheeh by Shaykh al-Albaani.

Ibn Mas'ud (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:I visited the Prophet (ﷺ) when he was suffering fever. I said, "You seem to be suffering greatly, O Messenger of Allah." The Prophet (ﷺ) replied, "Yes, I suffer as much as two persons." I said, "Is that because you have a double reward?" He replied that that was so and then said, "No Muslim is afflicted by a harm, be it the pricking of a thorn or something more (painful than that), but Allah thereby causes his sins to fall away just as a tree sheds its leaves".[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

And Allah says "And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient,Who, when disaster strikes them, say, "Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return."(Surah al Baqara verse 155 -156)

If not affected what can I do as a believer?
Let's praise and thank Allah for the blessing and Pray for those affected. And we should make sure we seek protection from Allah from such diseases by many ways.Here are few tips in short from scholars according to sunnah.
1.Tawakkul(Putting one’s trust in Allah) The words “and I entrust my affair to Allah” mean: I submit my affairs to Allah and leave them to Him, and I rely on Him, for He will suffice the one who puts his trust in Him.
2. To Avoid Travelling or visiting to places that could infect.
3.To Recite Ayathul kursi evening and morning. Ayathul kursi
4.To fulfills ones obligation like prayer etc..
5.To recite duas such as:
Morning and evening duas.
particularly Dua 's to protect one self from evil such as:

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لاَ يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَىْءٌ فِي الأَرْضِ وَلاَ فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
Transliteration : Bismillahil-ladhi la yadurru ma’as-mihi shai’un fil-ardi wa la fis-sama’i, wa Huwas-Sami’ul-‘Alim
Translation :In the name of Allah with Whose Name nothing on earth or in heaven harms and He is the All-Hearing the All-Knowing and is then harmed by anything.

The Messenger of Allah said, “He who recites three times every morning and evening: ‘Bismillahil-ladhi la yadurru ma’as-mihi shai’un fil-ardi wa la fis-sama’i, wa Huwas-Sami’ul-‘Alim (In the Name of Allah with Whose Name there is protection against every kind of harm in the earth or in the heaven, and He is the All-Hearing and All- Knowing),’ nothing will harm him.” [Abu Dawud and At- Tirmidhi]

Anas (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (ﷺ) used to supplicate: "Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-barasi, wal- jununi, wal-judhami, wa sayyi'il-asqami' (O Allah! I seek refuge in You from leucoderma, insanity, leprosy and evil diseases)."[Abu Dawud].

 ‏ "‏اللهم إني أعوذ بك من البرص والجنون، والجذام، وسيئ الأسقام‏
Transliteration:  "Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-barasi, wal- jununi, wal-judhami, wa sayyi'il-asqami'

How Should a Muslim sister deal with Transgender ??

👆Please watch the above video before reading to help you understand the view of Islam...

This particular blog article is written on request of a sister who studies in a university to help her sister Muslimah to understand how to deal with Transgender. I thought writing such article on how to deal with Transgender will help our society immensely.

Who are Transgender?

Transgender is an umbrella term for persons whose gender identity, gender expression or behavior does not conform to that typically associated with the sex to which they were assigned at birth. Gender identity refers to a person’s internal sense of being male, female or something else; gender expression refers to the way a person communicates gender identity to others through behavior, clothing, hairstyles, voice or body characteristics. “Trans” is sometimes used as shorthand for “transgender.” While transgender is generally a good term to use, not everyone whose appearance or behavior is gender-nonconforming will identify as a transgender person.(definition of American psychological Association )

If Allah grants you victory over Ta'if tomorrow, I will lead you to the daughter of Ghailan. She has four folds on her front and eight folds on her back." The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "This sort of man should not enter freely with you." (It was customary to allow men with no sexual inclination to enter freely where there were women).(muwatta malik)
