How can i be among the Successful people?

All praise is for Allaah, Lord of the Worlds, who ordered us to follow His Messenger (sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) and to call to His Way, and may Allaah send praises and blessings of peace upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family, his companions, and those who truly follow them until the Day of Judgement.

Today my topic will be about calling people from darkness to light which is called Dawah. When the word da’wah is mentioned, we are generally talking about enjoining the good (Al-Ma’roof: Islamic monotheism and all that Islam orders one to do) and forbidding the evil (Al-Munkar: Polytheism, disbelief and all that Islam has forbidden) to Muslims as well as non-Muslims.

Allah says in the quran “Let there be a group of people amongst you inviting to all that is good, enjoining al-ma`roof [i.e. Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam orders one to do] and forbidding al-Munkar [polytheism and disbelief and all that Islam has forbidden]. And it is they who are successful.” [al-Qur’aan, Aal `Imraan (3):104]

Who are these group of people?

Da’wah is recognised by the majority of scholars as being obligatory upon every Muslim. Therefore by the act of da’wah we can fulfill our obligation and gain the love of  Allah .

And prophet (sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) said “Convey from me, even one verse.” [al-Bukhaaree]

Conveying the message therefore does not require a high level of scholarship, it is in fact a responsibility of each and every Muslim, according to his or her ability.

Why is it So important?

1.Get closer to Allah.

“…And My slave does not come close to Me with anything more beloved to Me than what I have made obligatory upon him. My slave continues to come nearer to Me through voluntary deeds until I love him, and when I love him, I become his ears with which he hears, I become his sight with which he sees, I become his hands with which he strikes, I become his legs with which he strides. If he asks Me, I shall surely grant his request.” [Bukhari]

2.To be among successful people

“Let there arise out of you a group of people inviting to all that is good, enjoining Al-Ma’roof (Islamic monotheism and all that Islam orders one to do) and forbidding Al-Munkar (Polytheism and disbelief and all that Islam has forbidden). And it is they who are successful.” [Qur’an: Chapter 3, Verse 104]

3.To be the best of the people

He says: You are the best of peoples, taken out for mankind. You enjoin what is right, forbid what is wrong, and believe in Allah. (Al-Imran:11O)

4.It is better than having the best of camel.

The Prophet(sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam)  in relation to this says:“By Allah, if a single person is guided by Allah through you, it will be better for you than the best of camels.” [Bukhari]

5.Ongoing charity after death

If a person is guided by you and he continue to do good deed from him his generation and friends ;even if you are dead you will be rewarded.

As the Prophet (sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) perfectly says:“When a man dies, his good deeds come to an end except three: on going charity, beneficial knowledge and righteous offspring who will pray for him.” [Muslim]
To be among successful

6.You can help yourself escape from the questioning of Allah on the day of judgement.

The Prophet (sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam)  talked about the consequences of those who do not spread possessed knowledge:“Whoever is asked about some knowledge that he knows, then he conceals it, he will be bridled with bridle of fire.” [Tirmidhi]

7.To be in the supplication of Allah his angels and all those in the earth

Also, as the Prophet (sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) says:
“God, His angels and all those in the Heavens and on Earth, even ants in their ant-hills and fish in the water, call down blessings on those who instruct others in beneficial knowledge.” [Tirmidhi]

Amazing time for Supplicating .....part2

1. Late at night

At a certain time of the night, as the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “During the night there is a time when the Muslim does not ask for the good of this world and the Hereafter but it will be given to him, and that happens every night.” Narrated by Muslim, 757.

2. A certain time On Friday

The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) mentioned Friday and said: “During it there is a time when a Muslim slave does not stand and pray and ask Allaah for something, but He will give it to him,” and he gestured with his hand to indicate how short that time is. Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 935; Muslim, 852. See also question no. 21748.

3. At the Crowing of a Rooster

Abu Hurairah (RA) narrated that the Prophet (SAW) said: 'When you hear a rooster crowing, then ask Allah for His bounties, for it has seen an angel, and when you hear a donkey braying, then seek refuge in Allah from Shaitan, for it has seen a Shaitan' [Sahih al-Bukhari, Muslim, Ahmad, Sahih al-Jami #611]

“When you hear the crowing of a rooster, ask Allaah of His bounty, for he has seen an angel.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 2304; Muslim, 2729.

4. While visiting the sick, and dua made by the sick

Ali (RA) reported that the Prophet (SAW) said: 'When a Muslim visits his sick Muslim brother in the morning, seventy thousand angels make dua for his forgiveness till the evening. And when he visits him in the evening, seventy thousand angels make dua for his forgiveness till the morning, and he will be granted a garden for it in Jannah.'
[at-Tirmidhi, abu Dawud]

5. Dua immediately after wudu

Umar ibn Al-Khattab reported that the Prophet (SAW) said: 'There is not one of you that makes wudu, and does it perfectly, then says: I testify that there is no diety worthy of worship except Allah. he is Alone, having no partners. And I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and messenger', except that the eight gates of Paradise are opened for him, and he can enter into it through whichever one he pleases' [Muslim #234, abu Dawud #162, Ahmad, an-Nasa'i]

If you want to be accompanied by Prophet (Pbuh) in Jannah!

All the praises and thanks be to Allah, the All-Provider without limits, the Most Generous, the Bestower, and peace and blessings of Allah be upon Prophet Muhammad and his family and companions.

Today insha allah my article will be on the" importance of charity to orphans"...
First of all let me define who is an orphan ,the Arabic word for orphan is yatîm. Its linguistic meaning is simply "something that is singular and alone." When the word is used in the context of a human being, it means "a minor who has lost his or her father."

Generally, an orphaned child is confronted by poverty and has a weak position in society. A minor child in such a compromised set of circumstances possesses nothing, not even the knowledge of how to cope. How bitter their life would be if no one take care of them.

The life of this world is of happiness ,trouble and trials, sometimes as an adult and full grown up we struggle some bitter days which are really hard to cope up with. Don’t we see many orphans in the society due (sudden /normal )deaths ,wars and trials. Most of us think that it is the duty of rich, government, his/her own family or orphanages to look after them, which is completely wrong thinking. This kinds of thoughts come to most of us except those who are blessed is due to lack of knowledge in this religion.

Each and everyone one of us are bound to think and help such orphans who are weak and are confronted by poverty ;that is what Islam taught us.

Let me quote some hadith and Quran verses on virtue on importance of charity to orphans.

When Allah spoke about believers he says: “And they feed, for the love of Allah, the poor, the orphan, and the captive..." [Soorah al-Insaan, 8]

"And they ask you concerning orphans. Say: "The best thing is to work honestly in their property, and if you mix your affairs with theirs, then they are your brothers." [Surat Al-Baqarah 2:220]

Would you like your heart to soften and prayers answered?

The Messenger of Allah said, what translated means, "Would you like that your heart becomes soft and that you acquire what you need? Be merciful with the orphan, pat his head and feed him from what you eat. This will soften your heart, and enable you to get what you need." [At-Tabaraanee & As-Silsilah as-Saheehah]

If you want to be accompanied by Prophet (Pbuh) in Jannah!

The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, has said: "I and the one who looks after an orphan and provides for him will be like this in Paradise," showing his middle and index fingers and separating them a little" [Reported by Al-Bukhari]

The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, has said: "he who joins an orphan among Muslims in his food and drink until that he can provide for himself; verily he is assured to enter Paradise" [Al-Albani said: authentic ]

The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, has said: "The Compassionate One has mercy on those who are merciful. If you show mercy to those who are on the earth, He Who is in the heaven will show mercy to you." [Reported by Abu Dawud and At-Tirmidhi, authenticated by Al-Albani]

Hope this article will inspire you and me to sponsor or help an orphan even if it is with a small amount. Let us take care of them in this world so Allah will bless us in this world and next ....
May Allah forgive us and Guide us, help all who suffer, Ameen.
